So, it happened again -- The New York City Staten Island Ferry Crashed -- And it was the same ferry that crashed last time. You would think the City learned its lesson last time. Last time, the City got hit for millions when plaintiffs and their attorneys showed that the City was to blame for the accident. And, we are hearing thru the grapevine that the City was aware that the engines on the boat were giving the ferry trouble prior to this accident. In the legal field, we call this prior notice. In other words, they should have known that the ferry was at risk for crashing. Anyway, the calls are already coming into our office. People are asking us to help them with their lawsuit against the City. Many people are injured; they cannot work; they do not know who is going to pay their hospital bills; So, here we go again. I guess the City did not learn its lesson last time. Hopefully, we make a bigger impression this time!
