The Brookhaven Memorial Hospital doctor told the woman that she didn’t have much time to live – she had untreatable cancer and should put her affairs in order. The woman, devastated, spent the next two years drugged beyond recognition – and only recently discovered that she had no trace of cancer in her body.

New York medical malpractice attorney says that Jimerez and her family have lived through a nightmare – and that her

It is unclear why the woman was misdiagnosed with cancer or what went wrong. Brookhaven Memorial Hospital has not commented on the
NYC medical malpractice case.
